Okie dokie, let's start from the top:
You did the cropping perfectly, from my point of view, it looks fantastic. The subject is centered, yet there is enough of the background to keep it from being overwhelming. I know many people don't seem to take into notice the leaves on the ground, but for some reason, I find that it adds to the picture. The ground would have appeared too grey and too much gravel if the leaves were not there. Ok, strange point I'm making, but hey, I say it how I see it.
I really love the cat's expression. The best cat photos, in my opinion, are the ones where you can clearly see the face. It has so much emotion in it. And regardless of what some say, cat's do have facial expressions, and you can see it in the shots. This cat appears wild, spunky.
I also love the position in which you captured the cat. It's not common to see a photo like this, which is good <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title=":P (Lick)" />
Honestly, I can't find anything negative about this shot. It's clear, has a nice background, interesting subject, and is overall, an amazing photograph.
